I had tried yoga only a few times but enjoyed it. When my asana opened so close to my home I signed up for the great value intro pass. I took advantage of unlimited classes and eagerly tried all the different styles on offer. A while after my intro pass ended I realised I had not been doing any exercise and since I really enjoyed… the yoga classes I decided to get a membership.
I love how for me yoga and my asana never get boring. In yoga there are apparently 1000’s of asanas and since my asana teaches many different styles of yoga and with the exceptional teachers no class is ever the same. My asana also offers more than just yoga too with now Pilates and this year tai chi and regular outdoor classes as well as workshops and other community events it makes my asana for me a vibrant , valuable and appreciated part of my life

Hidden behind the bustling shopping village of Vaucluse North is my secret haven, my Asana Yoga. I first visited My Asana to relax and take some time for myself away from the stress of work and a busy family. Little by little and day by day my love for My Asana has evolved and grown. Exposure to new styles of yoga, with different and wonderful… yoga teachers has sparked a joy and inner peace in me that I carry with me everywhere and that draws me back to My Asana whenever I can sneak away…
Ashtanga Yoga with Angel. Angel’s wisdom and insights into the traditions of Ashtanga yoga are inspirational. The yoga is physically challenging and rewarding but even more than that, the wealth of knowledge and reflections that Angel shares with us are magical. Yogis from different cultures and many levels of practice all come together in Angel’s beautiful classes and Angel has a way of making us all feel special and part of the My Asana yoga family.
Angel’s tween yoga class is transformational. My daughter and her friend were reluctant at first to start tween yoga together. With busy schedules and homework they were quick to find reasons not to go. After 2 weeks of inspirational lessons with Angel, and the obvious investment of love and trust that Angel placed in them, the thought of missing a class was no longer a discussion and the girls skipped into class with smiles. The girls emerged from class an hour later with calm minds and a new confidence and posture. A wonderful introduction to yoga and hopefully the start of a lifelong love for yoga for our girls.
Eve’s flow, hot flow and family yoga classes. Eve’s connection with the earth’s natural elements and passion for life is infectious in her yoga classes. Each class is an adventure from the Tibetan rites to meridian tapping, from hot flow with salutes to the sun to new moon smoking ceremonies and yin style classes. Through Eve I have been able to share the joy and benefits of yoga with my daughters (10&12 years) through family yoga. We have bonded and connected with each other and our yoga and look forward to our special empowering time together on Saturday afternoons with Eve. Family yoga brings together the excitement of Eve’s adult classes with fun of dance, Aboriginal culture, and colour. She has a lovely patience and nurturing way of encouraging the girls to try new things.
Gemmas flow and align classes. The elegance and grace of Gemma’s classes seem to spread through the room during her flow and align classes. Beautiful stretches and balances always leave me feeling calm and centred and ready for the day ahead.
Jess’s Thursday night class. Thursday nights with Jess are energetic, challenging and a perfect detox after a busy day. I love to clear my mind during Jess’s and wind down for a restful sleep after this class.
Thank you Asnat

The teachers were amazing with incredible knowledge that ensured I was doing the moves correctly. The atmosphere is friendly and intimate. Love being in the studio. Feels like a warm family environment.
The teachers Steve, Gemma, Dee and Rochelle are four incredible people part of a larger team of amazing teachers who inspire and bring warmth to every single class. The Woman who is the creator of My Asana (Asnat) is the reason why I feel at home when I’m at Yoga. The Atmosphere is happy, warm and friendly and everybody is welcome. I highly recommend all… the workshops that they provide, they are very popular and professional and it’s obvious why. I encourage you to step out of your comfort and come and join us.

All the teachers are amazing so no matter which day I go there is always a class that I enjoy! Even my kids have tried yoga here for the first time and are now fans. We are very lucky to have My Asana in our neighbourhood! With love
They have brought in highly experienced teachers with accommodating timetables that has supported me with my on-going yoga practice. Yoga had changed my way of living and allowed me to grow alongside fellow yogis.
I also like learning how to count in sanskrit.
I especially love the back bend as it gives me a good stretch, it loosens me up. The meditation we do with Angel is incredible – I feel relaxed and focussed all at the same time.
My Asana is a little yoga haven filled with the energy of teachers and students on a remarkable journey together. Each teacher shares the depth of their learnings and experiences through their own unique approach to the practise, enabling students to explore, expand and deepen their own practise.
Now, they can tell me when they need a moment for themselves to calm down. It gives them a greater body awareness and a greater sense of calmness. I love the idea that they have an hour per week where they can focus on themselves.
The teachers are outstanding, the combination of yoga and Pilates is brilliant and convenient and the community is kind and incredibly special. I love coming so much that when I move to Coogee, I’ll be driving back for classes! I’ve achieving all my wellness goals; I’ve lost 11kgs, I’m much stronger and generally feel much healthier, I love it!
