OUR TEACHERS
Each of our teachers brings deep grounded knowledge of their modality, supporting growth and expansion of not only the body but mind and spirit as well.

TAL RAFEL
With expertise extending beyond traditional yoga practices, Tal offers a range of dynamic and ever-evolving programs that encompass yoga, psychology, and somatic therapy. Tal started her journey with Yoga in the Ashtanga system and fell in love with the discipline, the breathe and the philosophy. Although pregnancy and motherhood softened her practice and approach she still loves to weave in what she calls “ the real juice” of Yoga into all her classes. For her Yoga is rooted in Mindfulness and learning to improve our awareness so that we can live our lives with more love and less fear. Expect challenge, humour, and lots of kindness from her classes.

With a warm and attentive approach, Lou supports students to come home in the body, progress in their practice, and develop a deeper sense of self-trust. Her teaching is shaped by many years of study and meditation in the non-dual Tantric tradition, which invites us to experience everyday life as a ground for presence and aliveness. Trish started her pilates (and yoga), journey over 10 years ago. She wants to give clients the tools so they can connect with their bodies keeping strong and healthy as they age. Trish’s classes are challenging with lots of stretching towards the end.

SIMONE LAI
Sim's first memories of yoga are being "babysat" by swamis at the local Ashram and going to the classes her mother taught on school holidays. Over 25 years Sim has found Tapas in the firm of consistently returning to the mat, her way to find balance off the mat inspired by "Do your practice and all is coming" from Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. In 2015, a desire to deepen her practice beyond the physical led her to complete her 500 hour teacher training at Suhka Mukha yoga under Idit Tamir and Katie Manitis. Extensive training with Donna Farhi over the years depended Simone's respect and understanding of the traditions and techniques of yoga whilst embracing and integrating current research and science. Her further studies include health Coaching with the Institute of Motion (functional movement), Release Move Improve system (Myofascial release through movement), Developmental movement patterns in Exercise (Dynamic neuromuscular Stabilization) and Phase Six (primal movement). Sim hopes to help students inhabit and move their bodies through a mindful, light-hearted, alignment-focused and sometimes challenging practice, drawing from her own experience and love of yoga in many forms.
